Unveiling the Process

Raw Material Preparation

The manufacturing process begins with large rolls of paper, which are specifically designed for cup production. The paper used for cups can be coated with a thin layer of PE coating for waterproofing if required. This high-quality material is prepared to be fed into the cup-making machines.

Printing and Cutting

Before being formed into cups, the paper is printed with the desired designs and branding, resulting in printed paper cups. The printing is done using flexographic or offset printing, and the paper is then cut into small sheets or “blanks,” which are the precursors to the final cup shape.

Cup Forming

Each blank is fed into a cup-forming machine, where it is molded into a cup shape. This process involves heat and pressure to ensure a durable structure, making the cups suitable for use as biodegradable paper cups.

Bottom Sealing

Once the cup’s main body is formed, the bottom piece, a coated paper, is sealed on. Heat is used to bond the materials securely, ensuring a leak-proof design.

Rim Formation

The top rim of the cup is rolled to create a smooth edge for drinking. This process also strengthens the cup’s structure, preparing it for various applications, including custom paper cups tailored to branding requirements.

Inspection and Packaging

Finished cups undergo rigorous inspections to ensure quality control, checking for leaks, print quality, and overall structure. The final products are then stacked, packaged, and shipped, ready to serve customers.
